Job Responsibilities

• Aid veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their owners
• Maintain cleanliness and organize hospital and equipment
• Handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
• Care for and feed hospitalized patients
• Follow hospital core values, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with other team members for high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred
• Knowledge of basic animal care and medical terminology
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Willingness to learn and follow direction from veterinarians and staff
• Genuine love for animals
