Veterinary Assistant
About the role

Responsibilities
- Supporting efficient exam room and outpatient workflow to ensure exceptional patient and client care
- Maintaining accurate, thorough medical records and treatment documentation
- Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
- Schedule coordination
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary assistant, animal care, kennel assistant, or related role preferred
- Proficiency in safe animal handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and patient care principles
- Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday
- Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in a veterinary assistant, animal care, kennel assistant, or related role preferred

Benefits
A full-time benefits package includes a bonus package, health package (medical, dental, and vision insurance), life insurance and disability, employee assistance program, 401(k) with company match, paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law, uniform allowance, personal pet discount, and availability needed Monday- Friday with one Saturday a month.
Pay
$18-20 per hour, for each hour worked
Schedule
This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday- Friday with one Saturday a month.
