Veterinary Assistant
Responsibilities
Supporting efficient exam room and outpatient workflow to ensure exceptional patient and client care
Maintaining accurate, thorough medical records and treatment documentation
Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
Supporting veterinarians during outpatient procedures and treatments while providing high-quality patient care
Building positive relationships with clients through education, communication, and attentive service
Requirements
1+ years of veterinary assistant, animal care, kennel, or related role preferred
Proficiency in safe animal handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments
Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and patient care principles
Experience assisting with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures
Ability to maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
Organizational and time management skills
Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team members
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday
Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service

Pay
$13-16 per hour, for each hour worked
Flexible, full-time, or part-time position with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday with 2 Saturdays
