What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient restraint during exams, treatments, and blood draws
  • Help ensure the safety and comfort of patients and team members during procedures
  • Prepare, clean, and sterilize surgical suites, instruments, and equipment
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records, including patient histories, vitals, and treatments
  • Clean, sanitize, and stock exam rooms, treatment areas, and kennels
  • Feed, walk, and provide routine care for hospitalized patients and boarders
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • Greet clients and patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out as needed
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Complete pharmacy refill requests
  • Process client payments and support front desk workflows

What You’ll Bring

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of veterinary hospital experience preferred
  • Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and basic veterinary terminology
  • Basic knowledge of veterinary pharmacology
  • Experience with veterinary practice management software
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • The ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently and stand for extended periods
  • A strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail
  • A calm and professional approach in a fast-paced environment
