Veterinary Assistant

About the role

VCA Broadway Animal Hospital and Pet Center is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team in beautiful Boulder, CO.

Responsibilities

• Earn the trust of every pet parent by delivering an exceptional client experience
• Ensure patients receive the lifelong care of their companion animals
• Utilize skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, physical examinations, surgical preparation and assisting, dentistry, laboratory work, pharmacy, patient recovery, and compassionate patient care

Requirements

• Previous Veterinary experience preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Colorado license as a Veterinary Technician
• Experience with veterinary equipment and procedures

Skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

$18.00-$24.00/hour, depending on experience and skill set

Schedule

Part-time, 3x10-hour shifts. Rotating Saturdays
