Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care
• Safely restrain and handle dogs and cats
• Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical patients
• Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics
• Fill medications and maintain accurate medical records
• Help keep the hospital clean, organized, and running smoothly
• Provide compassionate care to every patient and outstanding service to every client

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a veterinary hospital
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• The ability to stay calm and compassionate in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
• Flexibility to assist wherever needed
• Availability to work occasional Saturdays is preferred
