About the role
This is a busy, hands-on role where you'll stay moving and learning. As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll assist technicians and veterinarians during exams and procedures, safely restrain patients, prepare exam rooms, instruments, and surgical areas, help with basic lab work and patient care tasks, clean and maintain equipment and clinic spaces, and support patient flow.

- Jump in wherever needed—because teamwork is everything here
Requirements
- Previous veterinary or animal handling experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic—you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Able to stay organized and multitask
- Calm, confident handling of animals (even the nervous ones)
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset
- Interest in growing in veterinary medicine (big plus)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Veterinary Assistant (VAAI) or equivalent
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift and move patients
