Veterinarian - Urgent Care (Sign-on Bonus!)

About the role

This urgent care is positively thriving, and we are looking to add an additional doctor to our team in Madison, CT. Serving the community since 2018, Pieper Veterinary – Madison is ready and available to care for the community and its pets seven days a week.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch medical care to clients’ furry family members with non-critical illnesses and injuries.
• Manage patient walk-ins and provide best practices in medicine and client experience.
• Utilize advanced technology such as in-house digital x-ray, in-house Heska and Idexx lab machines, reference lab access, and fast-scan ultrasound.
• Collaborate with a network of specialists on more complex cases.

Requirements

• Lovely love the fast pace and adrenaline of the ER.
• Not built to work overnights.
• Love ER and want to work in a positive learning and teaching environment.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in emergency veterinary medicine.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
