About the role
The Whole Pet Vet Hospital and Wellness Center in Los Gatos, CA is seeking an associate veterinarian to join their thriving 7-doctor practice. They offer both traditional medicine and integrative care, focusing on comprehensive care for cats, dogs, and pocket pets.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of procedures including soft tissue surgery, dentals with extractions, mass removals, cystotomies, eye surgeries, nares opening, and occasional C-sections.
- Work Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, with a part-time opportunity available or a full-time commitment of 30 hours (3 days) per week.
- Support the practice's focus on expanding acupuncture, rehabilitation, or integrative offerings, or working alongside specialists in these fields.
- Communicate effectively with clients and demonstrate a dedication to continued education.
Requirements
- Valid California veterinary license and ability to obtain a DEA license.
- High-quality medicine and surgical skills.
- Excellent client communication and customer service skills.
- A dedication to continued education.
Qualifications
- All levels of experience.
- DVM or VMD degree.

Pay
$100,000 - $165,000 annually, with individual pay determined by work location and additional factors.
Schedule
No on-call or ER hours. Open Monday–Thursday 7:30/8am–6pm, Friday until 5pm. Closed weekends. Currently seeking coverage, especially on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
