About the role

Edgewood Veterinary Clinic is seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our close-knit, community-focused practice in Milton, WA. We value kindness, collaboration, and work-life balance, and our team includes DVMs and staff with 3–8 years of tenure. We’re open to full-time or part-time veterinarians and welcome doctors who enjoy surgery or want support developing advanced surgical skills.

Schedule

  • 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays (typically every 4th)
  • Appointments-only or appointments + surgery schedules are both welcome

Dr. Lawrence, our Chief of Staff, has extensive experience mentoring veterinarians and enjoys helping new doctors build confidence and develop their skills. Each DVM has a personal veterinary assistant for the day, along with 2–3 LVTs supporting appointments, procedures, and surgeries. Our team includes 4 LVTs providing an experienced clinical support system.

Practice Design & Support

We’re a busy practice with a strong appointment schedule, regularly booking out weeks in advance. Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes, unless there is a specific reason for additional time. Our schedule includes a 1.5-hour lunch break plus three additional 30-minute catch-up blocks throughout the day to ensure time for catching up, client communication, and finishing on time.

Edgewood Veterinary Clinic is a full-service hospital committed to delivering high-quality, affordable care while building lasting relationships with pets and their families. We provide preventative, medical, surgical, and dental care, in-house laboratory and IDEXX reference lab access, digital radiography, and established referral partnerships with Puget Sound specialists. Our approach centers on client education, prevention, and personalized care.
