Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality veterinary medicine, including surgery, under the supervision of the Hospital Manager.
- Collaborate with the support staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through the hospital’s leadership training program.
- Engage in community involvement initiatives such as sponsoring the Middleton Police Dog program and supporting Angel's Wish rescue efforts.
- Contribute to the hospital's ongoing facility and equipment upgrades.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
- At least three years of clinical experience in small animal practice.
- A valid Wisconsin veterinary license.
- A commitment to performing surgery, with doctors typically scheduling 1-2 dedicated surgery days each week.
