Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality veterinary medicine, including surgery, under the supervision of the Hospital Manager.
  • Collaborate with the support staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development through the hospital’s leadership training program.
  • Engage in community involvement initiatives such as sponsoring the Middleton Police Dog program and supporting Angel's Wish rescue efforts.
  • Contribute to the hospital's ongoing facility and equipment upgrades.

Requirements

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
  • At least three years of clinical experience in small animal practice.
  • A valid Wisconsin veterinary license.
  • A commitment to performing surgery, with doctors typically scheduling 1-2 dedicated surgery days each week.
