About the role

As Medical Director, you'll continue practicing exceptional medicine while mentoring doctors, partnering with an experienced leadership team, and helping guide the medical direction of a hospital where your voice truly matters. Whether your passion is surgery, exotics, mentorship, or elevating clinical standards, you'll have the support and autonomy to make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and train new doctors and staff members
  • Partner with the leadership team to set and achieve medical goals
  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance
  • Elevate clinical standards and practices
  • Lead by example in providing compassionate and high-quality care

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Board certification in veterinary medicine (optional but preferred)
  • Experience in general practice and/or specialty medicine
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven track record of success in veterinary medicine
  • Passionate about animal welfare and patient care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
