Alta Animal Hospital is seeking a Managing Veterinarian to lead our progressive, multi-doctor small animal practice in the scenic and welcoming community of Pocatello, Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and uphold high standards of patient care
• Mentor and support associate veterinarians and clinical staff
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture
• Help drive hospital growth, client experience, and service offerings
• Collaborate on medical protocols, quality assurance, and best practices
• Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on clinical work

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive veterinary experience
• Experience in managing a veterinary practice
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Idaho
• Knowledge of current veterinary practices and technologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
