About the role

As an In-Home Veterinarian at Heartstrings Pet Hospice, you will provide compassionate end-of-life care to pets and their families in the comfort of their homes. You will be part of a private, family-owned veterinary practice dedicated to supporting veterinarians and offering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice/palliative care
• Offer quality-of-life consultations
• Support families during difficult times
• Work independently with flexible scheduling
• Participate in fear-free and compassion-focused care

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Doctor of Veterinary Surgery (DVS), or Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVMS)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
• Weekend availability (rotational)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
