BluePearl Pittsburgh South is a hospital located in Washington, PA, in the South Hills of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. We are currently seeking a board certified or residency trained Veterinary Dentist to join our team.

Responsibilities

As a member of our team, you will:

  • Provide exceptional specialty and emergency care for pets by supporting each other through our shared passion, knowledge, and talents.
  • Work in a close-knit, collegial group with a collaborative work ethic.
  • Participate in a house officer program consisting of rotating interns, emergency and critical care interns and residents, and surgical interns and residents, leading to a team approach to patient care.
  • Offer a variety of services including after-hours emergency medicine on evenings and weekends, and specialists in critical care, cardiology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, radiology, and surgery.
  • Utilize advanced treatment and diagnostic services such as a 64-slice CT, 2 ultrasound machines, video endoscopy, digital radiography, and dedicated suites for endoscopy and ultrasound.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Be board certified or residency trained in veterinary dentistry.
  • Have a strong commitment to providing exceptional specialty and emergency care for pets.
  • Be able to work in a close-knit, collegial group with a collaborative work ethic.
  • Have experience in a house officer program consisting of rotating interns, emergency and critical care interns and residents, and surgical interns and residents.
  • Be familiar with a comprehensive range of services offered at our hospital, including after-hours emergency medicine on evenings and weekends, and specialists in critical care, cardiology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, radiology, and surgery.
  • Be knowledgeable about advanced treatment and diagnostic services such as a 64-slice CT, 2 ultrasound machines, video endoscopy, digital radiography, and dedicated suites for endoscopy and ultrasound.
  • Have experience working in a close-knit, collegial group with a collaborative work ethic.
  • Have a strong commitment to providing exceptional specialty and emergency care for pets.
