Prior formal leadership experience is welcomed but not required; strong clinical judgment, communication skills, accountability, and the ability to earn trust through example are most important.

What We Are Looking For

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• A valid state license and in good standing to practice.
• A collaborative spirit and a dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
• Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
• Desire to learn and grow, with interest in small-animal general practice in a full-service, AAHA-accredited hospital committed to compassionate, high-quality medicine.
• Clinical interests may include preventative and wellness care, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, routine and advanced surgery, internal medicine, pain management, urgent and same-day care, client education, and continuity of care throughout every stage of a patient's life.
• Remains curious, welcomes feedback, and is motivated to continue developing both clinically and professionally.

• Supportive Technical Team: Practice alongside an exceptionally skilled and established support team that includes numerous Certified Veterinary Technicians, senior and lead technicians, and team members with advanced anesthesia credentials. Their depth of experience supports efficient workflows, strong patient monitoring, excellent client communication, and the ability for doctors to focus on practicing medicine at a high level.
• Facility: Full-service, AAHA-accredited facility equipped to provide wellness and preventative care, state-of-the-art testing and diagnostics, routine and advanced surgical procedures, urgent care, and pet boarding. The hospital's equipment, treatment areas, diagnostic capabilities, and established workflows support both comprehensive primary care and more advanced medical cases.
• Scope of Practice: Robust, encompassing core areas like Surgery, Neurology, and Internal Medicine, allowing you to manage complex cases and expand your clinical skills daily. You also benefit from readily available internal specialty consultations.
• Patient Mix: A diverse small-animal caseload primarily consisting of dogs and cats, with a rewarding mix of wellness visits, diagnostic workups, surgery, dentistry, urgent presentations, chronic disease management, and advanced care.
