Veterinarian - Co-Owner

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time DVM who wants to be a co‑owner, not just an employee, at Sangaree Animal Hospital at Cane Bay. This is a partnership model with real equity ownership, a meaningful stake, and a voice in how the practice grows. The hospital is AAHA‑accredited, has a loyal client base, and has been serving the Charleston metro area since 2014 as a two‑doctor team recognized as “Best of Summerville.”

Responsibilities

• Manage an established caseload with room to grow.
• Lead medical decision‑making and shape clinic culture.
• Provide input on equipment purchases, hiring, and scheduling decisions.
• Determine work‑ups, treatment plans, and prescribing without mandated corporate protocols or production quotas.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD from an AVMA‑accredited school, licensed or license‑eligible in South Carolina.
• Small‑animal general practice experience, comfortable with routine surgery and dentistry.
• Genuine interest in ownership and building a practice.
• Judgment and communication skills to be trusted with autonomy.
