About the role

Bayside Animal Hospital is seeking a passionate and dedicated veterinarian to join our fun and energetic two-doctor team. Supported by a skilled staff of technicians and assistants, we provide high-quality care for our patients and build lasting, trusted relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a variety of animal species
• Perform routine and complex medical procedures under the supervision of experienced veterinarians
• Mentor new graduates through our structured mentorship program
• Participate in community outreach programs, including discounted surgeries for local animal shelters
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and efficient patient care

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland
• Experience in general veterinary practice, preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
