About the role

Austinburg Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time or part-time veterinarian to join our welcoming atmosphere and commitment to high quality veterinary care for companion animals. We are a newly renovated hospital with advanced diagnostic features including digital x-rays, digital dental x-rays, laser therapy, and surgical laser. We are nationally recognized as one of the top five AAHA Hospitals, setting a higher standard for veterinary care and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of a variety of cases including routine wellness exams, vaccinations, spays/neuters, and surgeries.
• Collaborative medicine and teamwork with a high-energy and friendly team.
• Opportunity for leadership development and learning new skills.
• Flexible schedule with no weekend or on-call hours, open to 3- or 4-day work weeks.
• Experience with exotic or pocket pets is considered a plus.
• Eagerness to learn is also considered a positive attribute.

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Ohio.
• Experience in general small animal medicine preferred but not required for new grads.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AVMA accredited veterinary school.
• Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).
