Wewoka Animal Hospital is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join our team in Wewoka, OK. At Wewoka, you'll provide high-quality, personalized care to companion animals, equine patients, livestock, and the occasional exotic—all while serving a close-knit Oklahoma community.

Wewoka Animal Hospital is a sister hospital to Shawnee Animal Hospital, allowing our veterinarians to benefit from the resources and experience of an established mixed animal veterinary team while maintaining the personalized feel of community practice. We offer a wide range of services, providing compassionate care for small animals, exotics, large animals, and livestock.

Responsibilities

  • Provide preventive and wellness care, surgery, dentistry, herd health consultations, equine dentistry, and farm calls
  • Treat dogs, cats, horses, cattle, swine, small ruminants, and occasional exotics
  • Deliver high-quality, personalized care to a diverse caseload

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college
  • Active Oklahoma veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain)
  • Current DEA and OK BNDD License (or ability to obtain)
  • Mixed animal experience or an interest in and willingness to work with both small and large animals

New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply.

Pay

Total earning potential is up to $140,000 (ProSal). Sign-on bonus and/or relocation assistance available.

Schedule

  • Full-time (3-4 days per week including rotating Saturdays)
  • Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Saturday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, Sunday: Closed
