About the role

We are looking for a compassionate, collaborative Associate Veterinarian to join our team and become part of a hospital culture centered around kindness, integrity, communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care to animals under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to ensure patient care and hospital operations run smoothly.
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to make informed treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement wellness and preventative care plans for patients.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide clear explanations of treatment options.
• Continuously seek professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Active Maryland veterinary license (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary medicine is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passionate about providing compassionate care to pets and their owners.

Pay

$110,000 - $150,000 annually.
