About the role

Roxboro Animal Hospital is seeking a team-oriented and enthusiastic Veterinarian to join our AAHA-accredited, well-established, full-service small animal hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina. We provide complete medical, surgical, dental, and boarding services with a focus on professional, compassionate care and superior customer service. Our facility is modern and clean, featuring three canine exam rooms, one feline exam room with separate entrances, a dedicated surgical suite, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, a fully stocked pharmacy, and in-house lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Advance medical care and answer client questions regarding medical and surgical procedures.
• Provide oversight and direction of medical standards, quality of care, and inventory.
• Follow medical protocols, minimize waste, and control costs related to medical supplies, surgical instruments, and drug inventories.
• Support the Hospital Manager with staff training programs and tracking of continuing education (CE) and DVM licensure.
• Drive revenue and contribute to hospital growth by increasing patient visits and encouraging community involvement.
• Embrace change and support new initiatives within the hospital.
• Provide client services and growth initiatives.
