About the role

You will join a supportive culture where continuous improvement is highly valued, ensuring you have the resources needed to excel. At Avondale, you will practice high-quality, comprehensive small animal medicine. Our services span the full spectrum of care, including Wellness and Prevention, advanced Testing and Diagnostics, and complex Surgical Procedures. A key part of our specialized offerings is our robust Urgent Care program, which provides essential weekend coverage on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 PM to 8 PM. This focus on advanced and emergency care ensures you maintain a varied caseload and can utilize a full range of your skills every day.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets, becoming their trusted partner in a pet's lifelong health.
• Practice high-quality medicine, leading patient care from diagnosis to treatment with the freedom to uphold the highest standards.
• Educate and empower clients by clearly communicating findings and treatment plans, enabling informed decisions.
• Collaborate and grow alongside a supportive paraprofessional team, contributing to a positive hospital culture.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Valid state license and in good standing to practice.
• Collaborative spirit and a dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
• Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
