Veterinarian

Great medicine by day. Music City by night. McCormick Animal Clinic is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee — a city with a genuine claim to being one of the most exciting places in the country to live, not just visit. If you're looking for a strong, established practice and a city with real energy to come home to, we'd love to talk.

About the role

Join a well-established, respected small animal practice with a loyal client base and a team that genuinely enjoys working together.

Nashville's nickname is "Music City," but that barely scratches the surface of what makes this place genuinely fun to live in. A legendary live music scene, every night of the week. From the historic Ryman Auditorium — the "Mother Church of Country Music," where Johnny Cash met June Carter — to the energy of Honky Tonk Highway on Lower Broadway, live music isn't a special occasion here, it's a Tuesday. The world's only full-scale Parthenon replica sits right in Centennial Park, originally built in 1897 and rebuilt in concrete in the 1920s — complete with a towering recreation of the Athena Parthenos statue inside. A genuinely strange and wonderful thing to have in your city park. A food and nightlife scene that keeps growing. Rooftop bars, James Beard-recognized restaurants, hot chicken institutions, and the Nashville Farmers' Market all give you plenty of reasons to explore after a shift. Green space without leaving the city. Centennial Park, Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, and Cheekwood Estate's 55 acres of gardens and art give you a genuine escape without a long drive. A city that takes its art seriously, in unexpected ways. Nashville's mural scene is everywhere — walk a few blocks downtown and you'll run into several without even trying. Pro sports and minor league charm. Catch the Nashville Sounds at their guitar-shaped-scoreboard ballpark, or take in Titans football and Predators hockey if you're into the bigger leagues. A genuinely central location. Nashville International Airport offers easy, direct access to most of the country, and you're a short drive from the Great Smoky Mountains if you need a weekend in the woods. Room to be a little weird. Dragon Park, Madame Tussauds, an axe-throwing bar with skyline views, a motor museum in an old bakery — Nashville has a real appetite for the offbeat alongside its polish.
