About the role

The Animal Hospital at Lake Brandt is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our small animal general practice team. With 19 years of dedicated service to the Summerfield community, we are committed to providing compassionate and high-quality veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Care for a diverse caseload of small animals including dogs, cats, and exotics
• Perform routine and complex medical procedures under the supervision of licensed veterinarians
• Provide preventive care and health education to pet owners
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the best possible care for each patient
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with veterinary medicine

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current North Carolina license to practice veterinary medicine
• Experience in small animal medicine preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passing score on the North Carolina State Board Exam
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for veterinary medicine
• Positive attitude and a commitment to excellence
