Vetco Veterinary Assistant (Weekends Only)

About the role

Meet our dedicated Veterinary Assistant team members who make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families. Your role will involve greeting pet parents, recommending veterinary services, and assisting veterinarians.

Responsibilities

- Meet our veterinary team at the dispatch office. - Travel to assigned Petco clinic locations for the day. - Greet pet parents and recommend veterinary services. - Assist veterinarians in administering services. - Thank pet parents for their commitment to their pets.

Requirements

- Love dogs and cats, and enjoy interacting with people. - Be a team player and supportive of the team. - Have excellent customer service skills. - Be eager to learn and adapt to changing environments. - Have the ability to work in diverse settings and travel.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

- Excellent customer service skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
