About the role

As Information Manager ICT, your mission is to bridge the gap between IT and the business within a dynamic environment. KNMP (Koninklijke Nederlandse Maatschappij ter bevordering van Pharmacie) represents the interests of over 5,000 members and promotes excellent pharmaceutical patient care.

You will be (co-)responsible for shaping the digitalization of the organization and operationalizing it. You translate business goals and regulatory requirements into concrete policies and actionable plans. You maintain an overview of all components, steering and monitoring information provision while advising the organization and management. You translate new needs into RFIs and RFPs, guiding and coordinating the selection of new products and services while ensuring quality. Additionally, you play a key role in developing the IT portfolio and professionalizing IT within the organization.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Policy

• Develop the digitalization strategy, policy, and information plan for the organization;
• Monitor market developments, technological advancements, and regulations, translating them into policy proposals and concrete improvement plans.

Information Management

• Monitor and improve the quality of the organization’s information position (aligning business processes, systems, and information needs);
• Advise (departmental) management on change and adoption;
• Translate new information needs into RFIs and RFPs, supporting departmental management in developing business cases;
• Guide the selection process for new products and services;
• Provide (functional) leadership to (de)centralized functional managers.

Portfolio Management

• Support and facilitate the portfolio process;
• Contribute to the professionalization of the IT function within the organization;
• Develop IV templates and supporting processes.

The ICT & BI team consists of three teams: ICT Services, Research & Development, and Online. The department is transitioning toward a more strategic position within the organization. In this role, you will report to the Manager of ICT & BI.

Requirements

• A completed HBO/WO degree in IT or business administration, with up-to-date knowledge of IT developments;
• Knowledge of business operations, change, and adoption processes;
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and tendering processes;
• Experience with portfolio management and project management;
• Knowledge of business process improvement, requirements engineering, analysis, and modeling, as well as strong understanding of relevant data and system architecture methods.
