Vertical Sales Director
About the role
Digital Turbine is seeking a Sales Director to join our Vertical Sales Team. This role will cover App First, Finance, Gaming, and Travel verticals, focusing on new revenue generation through Agencies and Clients. The ideal candidate will sell Managed, Programmatic, and Mobile On-Device solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build a pipeline and close new business with the largest app platforms
- Develop a complete mastery of Digital Turbine’s pitch, products, and the wider app advertising industry
- Identify, target, and acquire new clients via Brand and Agency relationships
- Drive new revenue and meet quarterly revenue targets as set by management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams from Sales, Client Services, and Technical Account Management
- Work with internal platform and supply stakeholders to connect the needs of our various customer constituencies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Sales Executive
- Strong client relationships and understanding of the User Acquisition + Branding + Mobile ecosystem
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to articulate ideas that create material value for customers
Qualifications
- A learner mindset, demonstrating how new skills or areas of business have been developed throughout their career
- Comfortable selling into large matrixed organizations and gaining instant credibility
- Existing network or industry experience in ad tech or mobile apps is preferred
- Works well in a team/highly collaborative fast-paced environment
