About the role

The purpose of the role is to understand customer needs and develop specific products to solve their problems, while supporting delivery managers in client servicing.

Responsibilities

• Understand the stated and unstated needs of the customer to develop the product.
• Deeply understand client requirements by interacting with them.
• Coordinate with the pre-sales team to understand RFP details.
• Post client interaction, draft and document user stories along with business analysts.
• Analyze the business/process problems of the client and identify loopholes to provide relevant solutions.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to reduce cost, time, and manpower at the client’s end.
• Identify various touchpoints while understanding the business/process value stream of the client.
• Share client requirements and relevant documents with developers and discuss apt solutions to address client problems.
• Create a product vision and roadmap for development and ensure adherence.
• Guide developers to design and prepare a package of solutions/proof of concept for customer approval.
• Design and develop the product solution as per the customer’s needs.
• Create product architecture with the technical architect and establish a roadmap with schedules, monitoring progress against dates.
• Work with the UX designer and UI team on the look and feel of the product as per client requirements.
• Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes throughout the project/module and create a comprehensive database of defects and mitigation techniques.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team during production to ensure seamless code movement across servers.
• Create test cases and perform testing of the developed product.
• Perform user acceptance testing in Wipro’s environment for successful delivery.
• Conduct product testing at the client’s environment and obtain final sign-off.
• Design an execution reporting dashboard to provide a clear picture of progress.
• Perform impact analysis at the client site, monitor results of the deployed product, and support incremental changes/requests.
• Develop, implement, and maintain scripts for database backup and restore, testing procedures periodically.

  • Forecast talent requirements based on current and future business needs.
  • Hire adequate and right resources for the team.
  • Train direct reportees to make informed recruitment and selection decisions.
• Talent Management:
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Wipro’s standards for onboarding and training to enhance capability and effectiveness.
  • Build an internal talent pool of high-potential employees and ensure their career progression.
  • Promote diversity in leadership positions.
• Performance Management:
  • Set goals for direct reportees, conduct timely performance reviews and appraisals, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Address performance issues with zero tolerance for will-based performance problems.
  • Ensure organizational programs like Performance Nxt are well understood and leveraged by the team.
• Employee Satisfaction and Engagement:
  • Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team.
  • Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement.
  • Proactively challenge the team with larger and enriching projects/initiatives.
  • Exercise employee recognition and appreciation.

Performance Parameters

• Timeliness of Delivery: 100% error-free onboarding and implementation, throughput %, adherence to schedule/release plan.
• Quality & CSAT: On-time delivery, troubleshooting queries, customer experience, customer reference, reusable product.
• IP Creation: Writing whitepapers, knowledge transfer, number of IPs created.
• Team Management: % trained on new-age skills, team attrition %, employee satisfaction score (ESAT), number of knowledge management sessions per quarter, number of certifications completed by self and team.

• 8–10 years of experience in project delivery.

Pay

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $173,800. Final compensation will depend on geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
