About the role

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our network engineering team. In this role, you'll be designing, implementing, and maintaining Versa Networks SD-WAN solutions. This will ensure secure, reliable, and optimized network connectivity across our distributed enterprise environment.

Requirements

• Experience with WAN optimization, application performance monitoring, and network security
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, QoS, and firewall policies
• Knowledge of cloud networking, hybrid cloud architectures, and integration with public cloud providers
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Versa Networks SD-WAN platforms in enterprise or large-scale environments
• Experience with automation tools and scripting for network configuration such as Python and Ansible
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Nagios
• Knowledge of other SD-WAN platforms
• Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is one component of the total compensation package.

Work model

Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen or customer facility, in alignment with leadership's expectations and the needs of the role. Onsite: If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed full-time at a customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role. Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings.
