Verification Technologist - Transfusion

Responsibilities

• Executes Verification Testing Protocols on all existing Systems and new platforms in development
• Documents test results in accordance with standard operating procedure
• Understands the relationship between requirements and actual system results
• Works independently and collaborates with the team to complete assigned work on schedule
• Has a laboratory background with the ability to learn and understand serological tasks like preparing dilutions and performing manual testing with various methodologies
• Performs maintenance on the systems when needed
• Maintains lab work surfaces and lab space

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Life Sciences or other sciences or technical field preferred
• Relevant laboratory knowledge and experience, required
• Experience in a medical testing laboratory with automated testing systems is desired but not required
