Verification Loan Officer

About the role

Vacatia is an innovative hospitality company reinventing the vacation rental and ownership experience. We are seeking a Verification Loan Officer (VLO) to review and verify all sales documentation, ensuring accurate closings for new owners.

Responsibilities

• Review all final sales documentation with new owners, including contracts, fees, and financing options
• Verify the validity of purchases and confirm accuracy with customers
• Obtain all required signatures and ensure proper documentation for internal compliance
• Follow up with customers on missed payments or documentation issues
• Maintain accurate logs of all interactions and updates in the Sales System
• Participate in ongoing customer service and compliance training

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior timeshare experience preferred
• Knowledge of timeshare products, legal documents, escrow procedures, and basic sales techniques
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and in-house software systems
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
