About the role
Veni-Puncture Technicians are needed to draw blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures. This is a part-time night shift position starting at 5:00 am - 9:45 pm, with alternate weekends and rotating holidays.
Responsibilities
- Enter rooms and provide comfort, calm, and compassion to patients.
- Draw blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians.
- Adhere to established procedures and protocols.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in phlebotomy.
- Phlebotomy Certification from the National Phlebotomy Association.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Basic computer skills.
