About the role
This position of Vendor Relations Manager is focused on ensuring the right products are available when and where needed for all dispensaries across the national retail footprint. You will have an in-depth knowledge of cannabis products and inform the business of what is attractive to customers. You’ll maintain & leverage relationships with third-party cannabis providers, and utilize business intelligence tools for data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of retail buying, merchandising, planning or related experience
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of procurement, logistics and inventory management practices
- Experience working independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Proficiency with Inventory systems and office equipment
Qualifications
- Ability to lead profitability discussions with internal teams and external partners, with a strong understanding of vendor and retail P&Ls
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align inventory strategy with the needs of both retail and wholesale operations
- Partner with the National Director of Retail or Retail Area Managers to ensure compliance with governing and regulatory bodies, managing inventory allocation caps effectively
- Perform related duties as assigned by your manager

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Manufacturing environment that requires extended time standing, walking, bending and reaching
- Occasional extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects
- Ability to work in a humid and pollinated environment
