About the Role

Be responsible for the management and coordination of all vendor management activities for a contract Program Management Office, including procurement activities and liaison with subcontractor companies. Perform procurement activities such as working with purchasing and supplier management teams to facilitate and execute customer procurements required under contract.

Develop tracking methods and institute tracking and auditing processes and reporting metrics to represent the accuracy and overall health of the program’s procurement, logistics, and asset management. Perform audits and report metrics and updates concerning the logistical status and condition of GFE and other assets.

Participate regularly in quality reviews, identifying areas of improvement and recommending efficiencies to advance the program’s ability to track GFE and other assets. Conduct due diligence for complex procurement initiatives, including market research, supplier evaluations, and cost analysis.

Liaise with subcontractor companies to track and manage all administrative operations, including status reporting, compliance, and staffing and requisition activities. Perform quality checks, apply expertise to identify business process improvement opportunities, and help implement new tools and procedures.

  • Conduct due diligence for procurement initiatives, including market research, supplier evaluations, and cost analysis
  • Liaise with subcontractors to manage administrative operations, compliance, and staffing activities
  • Identify business process improvement opportunities and implement new tools and procedures

Requirements

  • Experience with procurement and logistics tracking and supply chain management
  • Experience with research gathering, data entry, database maintenance, data tracking and analysis, and reporting
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract formation, and contract administration
  • Ability to leverage and evaluate technical, economic, and market research for sourcing recommendations
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting federal government agencies, the Intelligence Community (IC), the Department of Defense (DoD), or FEDSIM programs
  • Experience with procurement management or procuring products/services on behalf of the government
  • Experience using Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software, and Solutions (CHESS) for purchasing
  • Experience with technical applications, including Microsoft Office and e-Procurement systems
  • Experience with contracts, subcontracts, vendor management, and project or program management
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost research, financial tracking and reporting, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and DFARS
  • Excellent negotiation, advisory, and people skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent leadership skills to interface with internal groups and teams at multiple organizational levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with multiple stakeholders

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A Secret clearance is required.

Pay

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work Model

Booz Allen’s people-first culture prioritizes collaboration, whether in person or virtually. Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings.

  • Remote: Occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.
  • Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility is expected, aligned with leadership expectations and role needs. Visits to customer facilities may also be required.
  • Onsite: Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, with direct collaboration as required by the role.
