Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator I

About the role

VMI Coordinator I is an individual contributor responsible for delivering and setting up inventory at customer-designated sites, performing physical and administrative tasks involved in storing, distributing, and fulfilling orders for merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Conducts inventory tasks per local VMI processes, transports company cargo to customers, and ensures equipment safety and cleanliness. Location: Duluth, MN.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of shipments to the customer
• Assist with VMI customer space/placement; set up receiving area and stock product in customer's designated area
• Follow customer orders from pick-up at Vallen's warehouse/DC through delivery and set-up at customer site
• Scan barcodes at customer site to generate customer orders

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant warehouse, inventory counting, or delivery experience
• High school diploma or equivalent - preferred

Pay

$19.00 - 20.00 / hr
