About the Opportunity

The Vendor Experience Manager role is responsible for leading all third-party staffing aspects of events and projects. This position translates client requirements into comprehensive staffing plans that ensure successful event delivery with a focus on industry standards and guest experience. The role involves coordinating vendor contracts, managing service delivery onsite, and overseeing budget reconciliation. It contributes directly to the operational success and client satisfaction of events managed by the consulting team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project leads to identify event staffing needs aligned with security and budget requirements.
• Develop and communicate detailed staffing plans and budgets.
• Prepare and manage vendor deliverables including job orders, dot maps, briefing decks, and administrative plans.
• Cook up and manage vendor contracts and contracting processes for third-party vendors.
• Coordinate vendor operations and administration onsite, ensuring fulfillment of responsibilities.
• Maintain proactive communication with vendors and project teams.
• Provide ongoing vendor training, feedback, and agreement management.
• Support event execution through travel as needed (up to 10 days).

Requirements

• Proactive and detail-oriented, able to work independently and within teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Experience in event staffing with 2-3 years preferred.
• Knowledge of contract and rate negotiations related to event staffing.
• Skilled in creating staffing plans focused on security and crowd management.
• Familiarity with multiple staffing companies and venues.
• Experience managing budgets and tracking expenses.
• Proficient in Google Suite applications.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
