About the role
This position provides administrative and clerical support to loan servicing operations, offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience in banking and loan servicing within a growing organization and a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Contact insurance agencies and vendors to request invoices and ensure timely receipt of documentation.
- Track, document, and organize information received from vendors and insurance agencies with a high level of accuracy.
- Perform data entry tasks, including invoice entry, and provide general clerical support to loan servicing operations.
- Assist loan servicing teams with administrative tasks related to loan service, loss mitigation, and collections customer service.
- Follow up via phone and email to obtain missing information, clarify details, and resolve basic inquiries.
- Maintain strong attention to detail in all administrative, documentation, and data entry activities.
- Handle outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner while supporting customer service needs.
- Collaborate with a supervisor and team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to processes.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in phone-based and clerical work.
- Professional phone skills with a clear, courteous, and confident communication style.
- Proficiency with computers and email for data entry, documentation, and communication.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
- Comfort making outbound calls to vendors, insurance agencies, and customers.
- Ability to provide administrative support, customer service, and basic technical support as needed.
- Experience or familiarity with loan service, loss mitigation, collections customer service, and invoice entry is highly beneficial.
- Flexibility to work a part-time schedule within standard business hours.
Work Environment
This is an onsite, part-time role based in a branch office environment in North Spokane. The position typically involves working up to 6 hours per day during normal business hours, with no travel required. You will work in a professional banking setting alongside a friendly and supportive team, with a supervisor present onsite to provide training, guidance, and day-to-day support. The environment is structured yet collaborative, offering a strong "foot in the door" opportunity with potential for future permanent roles due to ongoing growth and expansion.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
