Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while on-site at customer and Martin locations.
  • Load and unload product on-site at customer and Martin locations.
  • Safely make deliveries in a 125-mile radius.
  • Handle VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) duties.
  • Fill vending machines and put away inventory at customer locations.
  • Communicate back to the branch any concerns or needs of the customer.
  • Perform basic warehouse functions including order picking, stocking, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and cleaning.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in inventory management or other industrial or maintenance related fields.
  • Strong customer focus, work ethic, and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to drive a cargo van and make deliveries to customers within the local and surrounding service area.
  • Meet the driving criteria of Martin; insurance requires age 21.
  • Operate a vehicle safely and abide by the laws of each state you travel.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, order picker, pallet jack, etc.).
  • Pass a D.O.T. Physical.
  • Pass a drug screening and background check.

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Occasional weekends possible (rarely).
