Vending Merchandiser
About the role
Join our safety-conscious team as a Vending Merchandiser in our warehouse. You will play a key role in processing customer orders, including receiving inbound purchases, stocking items, fulfilling orders accurately and timely, and processing orders efficiently. Local deliveries using a company vehicle may also be required.

Responsibilities
- Prepares and expedites shipments.
- Determines method and mode of shipment based on customer requirements.
- Compares identifying information on outgoing shipments to verify product and counts match outbound shipment documentation.
- Maintains the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment.
- Follows labeling requirements for each customer.
- Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently to meet production requirements.
- Drives a company vehicle for local deliveries.
- Performs quality control for all outbound orders to ensure accuracy.
- Fills out bills of lading and completes forms required by major freight carriers.
- Interprets packing slips and visual aids for specific packaging requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Operation of Forklift and Cherry Picker.
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Must pass background and drug/alcohol test.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Clean and active driving record with a current valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with proper packaging methods.
- Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Working Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to prevailing weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
