About the role

The Driver Operator will gather data to customer specifications across North America and document observations through our Data Acquisition system. This project is expected to last 4-5 months with potential for consecutive projects thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Carry out driving services on vehicles in line with customer specifications.
• Drive and operate vehicles across predefined routes through various terrain and weather conditions.
• Perform pre-drive activities, including vehicle inspection before and after shifts.
• Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.
• Drive vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic regulations.
• Follow instructions provided by the project manager.
• Perform daily reporting and maintain documentation with confidentiality.
• Support data acquisition and implement proper tagging techniques to document objects, obstacles, and anomalies.
• Must be physically able to support test preparation and execution in an outdoor environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and drive passenger vehicles up to 8 hours a day.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• 5 years of licensed driving experience.
• Current Driver’s License with a clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years.
• Experience working with ADAS features highly preferred.
• Must meet all workplace health and safety requirements.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work extended hours and weekends.

Schedule

• Monday to Sunday.
• Morning shift: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm.
• Second shift: 2:30 pm - 11:30 pm.
• Schedule is 3-6 days a week.
