Vehicle Service Attendant - Truck Rental - Austin

Location: 10907 N FM 620, Austin, TX 78726. Pay: $17/hr. This position does not allow any other paid employment (no moonlighting).

About the role

The Enterprise Truck Rental Division provides transportation solutions within the truck rental industry, focusing on high service levels and clean, well-maintained trucks. As part of Enterprise Mobility—a leading global provider of mobility solutions—this role supports a diverse fleet of medium-duty trucks.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interiors, exteriors, windshields, windows, mats, and other components.
• Safely drive various vehicles on and off the lot, including assisting with local deliveries and miscellaneous job-related duties.
• Check and maintain fluid levels on all vehicles.
• Notify management of unsafe equipment, conditions, or vehicle problems.
• Perform basic maintenance such as checking tire pressure, fluids, replacing marker lights, and lift gates.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment organized, clean, and in working condition.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license with no more than two (2) moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past three (3) years.
• No drug or alcohol-related convictions (e.g., DUI/DWI) on driving record in the past five (5) years.
• Must have at least six (6) months of prior work experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including passing a DOT medical examination or submitting a valid medical examiner’s certificate.
