Vehicle Operator

About the role

HireArt is partnering with an autonomous ride-hailing company to find a Vehicle Operator to bring their vision to life.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and maintain vehicle readiness
• Complete software and hardware tests
• Represent the company's brand as an ambassador to the public
• Assist and interact with multiple teams including computer vision, infrastructure, and sound design
• Support missions through various roles inside and outside of vehicles
• Provide accurate written and oral feedback to engineering teams
• Support vehicle maintenance and logistics
• Conduct daily basic vehicle preventative maintenance checks, services, and repairs
• Provide logistical support for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment
• Ensure the readiness and cleanliness of vehicles, equipment, and the workplace
• Assist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness

Requirements

• Basic vehicle knowledge for performing vehicle checks
• Ability to drive for long durations (6 hours per day)
• Basic technology ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent driving history and no criminal record
• Proactive mindset and resourcefulness
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience (plus) or military experience (plus)

Pay

Compensation: 27.00 USD per hour

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:45am-4:15pm
Night Shift: 3:45pm-12:15am

Weekend shifts add 5% per hour in bonus pay!
Night shifts starting at 1 p.m. or later add an additional 2% per hour in bonus pay (7% total on weekends!)

Commitment

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It is open to candidates local to the Miami, FL area.
