Responsibilities
- Input accurate vehicle information into the SECURE Application using a handheld computer (Zebra TC75x) for each vehicle received at the Auction:
- Vehicle Identification number (VIN)
- Stock number
- Dealer identification number
- Make, model, year, mileage, color, etc.
- Install GPS trackers in OBDII Port or with metal security cable.
- Remove license plates and document them.
- Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
- Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
- Flag "no key" cars.
- Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone.
- Report transport damage as needed.
- Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
- Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
- Cross-train for check-in and provide assistance to the EPII team when extra help is needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, such as assisting on sale days by driving vehicles through Auction sales lanes.
- May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate.
Requirements
- Minimum: High School Diploma/GED preferred, OR less than 2 years of related work experience.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience.
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
Work Environment
- Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Moderate noise level.
Pay
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.63 - $24.90/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
