Vehicle Operations Check in Specialist I (Manheim)

Key Responsibilities Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device (TC-75), including:VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)Stock numberDealer IDMake, model, year, mileage, color, optionsAffix barcode/stock number stickers to each vehicle upon arrivalApply work order numbers and routing labels to vehiclesIdentify and flag "no key" vehiclesDirect transporters to designated vehicle drop zonesInspect and report transport damage as requiredProvide proper sale identification windshield codes Data Protection & Vehicle Preparation Remove and clear all personal information from vehicles, including documents, saved contacts, and identifiable itemsReset or remove navigation system data (addresses, history, Bluetooth pairings, etc.)Ensure compliance with company policies regarding customer data privacy and security Safety & Team Support Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following all safety procedures and guidelinesSupport Safety Excellence initiatives and work with leadership on safety activitiesAssist with additional operational duties as assigned, including:Driving vehicles through auction lanes on sale days Qualifications Minimum: High School Diploma/GEDGenerally, less than 2 years' experience in a related field.Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license requiredBasic computer skills required.Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Schedule WEDNESDAY -SUNDAY 1:30 PM-10:00 PM SHIFT Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of auction or vehicle registration experienceAbility to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hearFrequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb USD 16.63 - 24.90 per hour Compensation Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.63 - $24.90/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. Benefits Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
