Vehicle Mechanic - (VM) WPS III (Iraq)

About the role

To support Department of State Worldwide Protective Services III (WPS III) Task Orders (TO) in austere environments, you will be responsible for maintaining and conducting repairs on Task Order-assigned vehicles, establishing and implementing vehicle maintenance plans, and maintaining reports for leadership and client communications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of assigned vehicles.
• Establish and implement vehicle maintenance plans.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of overseas experience in vehicle maintenance.
• Must possess Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)/factory certification for assigned equipment/systems.
• At a minimum must possess three (3) of the certifications listed below:
• Engine repair
• Automatic transmission/transaxle
• Manual drivetrain and axles
• Suspension and steering
• Brakes
• Electrical/electrical systems
• Engine performance

• Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Must have a valid U.S. Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration.
• Must be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.

Qualifications
