Vehicle Mechanic (OCONUS)

Essential Job Duties

• Conduct vehicle condition inspections.
• Work with computerized shop equipment and electronic components while also maintaining experience and skills with traditional hand tools.
• Use specific manufacturers and aftermarket diagnostic tools to include, but not limited to: scan, brake, air conditioning, and transmission tools.
• Understand and use vehicle electrical schematics.
• Perform required administrative paperwork for vehicle repairs and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Must have current SECRET government security clearance.
• Minimum 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Possess ASE certification.
• Possess mobile HVAC certification.
• Experience in vehicle condition inspections.
• Techically trained to work with computerized shop equipment and electronic components while also maintaining experience and skills with traditional hand tools.
• Experience with, and training in, using specific manufacturers and aftermarket diagnostic tools to include, but not limited to: scan, brake, air conditioning, and transmission tools.
• Experience with, and training in, understanding and using vehicle electrical schematics.

Work Environment

• Ability to perform required administrative paperwork for vehicle repairs and diagnostics.
• Nationwide U.S. location with ability to deploy overseas periodically for vehicle maintenance and repair.
