Vehicle Detailer

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires Saturday availability. Vehicle detailer staff are responsible for attending to the appearance of all new and used vehicles on the sales lot.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new vehicles: clean all new deliveries in a timely manner with customer satisfaction in mind, and apply products to the vehicle that the customer chooses.
• Perform inspections on new units from the Service department, preparing them for lot display.
• Maintain a washing schedule to ensure all vehicles are display-ready.
• Know how to safely use and maintain washing equipment.
• Prepare all vehicles for the lot with appropriate signage, stickers, license plate frames, window clings, etc.
• Assist with snow removal in inclement weather (shoveling, plowing, salting).
• Maintain cleanliness of dealership grounds.
• Keep showroom display units clean at all times.
• Assist in the security of vehicles by checking locks, keying up, and de-keying with sales staff daily.
• Fill display holes on the lot to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean driving record and operate all vehicles safely at all times.
