Vehicle Detailer

About the role

Since 1898, Brown Motors has built a reputation for delivering exceptional customer service and quality vehicles throughout Northern Michigan. As a Vehicle Detailer, you will play a critical role in ensuring every vehicle leaves our dealership looking its absolute best.

Responsibilities

- Wash, clean, and detail new, used, and customer vehicles - Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors - Polish, wax, and protect vehicle surfaces as needed - Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and presentation quality before delivery - Prepare vehicles for customer delivery and dealership display - Maintain detailing equipment and work areas in a clean, organized manner - Assist with lot appearance and vehicle organization when needed - Follow all safety procedures and company standards - Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail - Support sales and service departments by ensuring vehicles are presentation-ready

Requirements

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Positive attitude and strong work ethic - Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in various weather conditions - Ability to safely move vehicles around dealership property

Qualifications

- Previous detailing or automotive experience preferred but not required - Willingness to learn and follow established processes and procedures - Dependable attendance and punctuality
