Vehicle Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Honda of Pasadena is seeking a motivated Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in building the dealership's pre-owned inventory.

What You’ll Do

• Sourcing high-quality vehicles through various channels
• Utilizing dealership systems to identify and purchase vehicles directly from service drive customers
• Acting as a BDC agent to engage customers with proactive calls, texts, and emails regarding early lease termination and vehicle upgrade opportunities
• Proactively contacting prospective private-party sellers and trade-in clients to acquire inventory
• Collaborating closely with sales, service, and management teams to meet and exceed acquisition targets
• Maintaining meticulous records of all customer interactions and vehicle appraisals in the CRM while adhering to all compliance standards

What You’ll Bring

• A proactive problem-solver with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Experience in a dealership setting (sales, BDC, or acquisition) is highly preferred
• A strong background in sales, customer service, or call center environments
• Excellent communication skills—comfortable and confident on the phone, in email, and in person
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to manage your time effectively and hit your goals
• Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM software and other digital tools
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
